Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Validation

  • Gather structured and unstructured data from various sources including ERP, CRM, in-house applications, and external platforms.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness before analysis.
  • Collaborate with ERP and networking teams for seamless data pipeline integration.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze large datasets to discover trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to business performance.
  • Create reports, visual dashboards, and data summaries using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Work alongside Report Generators to optimize and automate recurring reports.

Business Intelligence & Decision Support

  • Provide analytical support to department heads and project teams.
  • Identify key KPIs for functions like operations, sales, procurement, finance, etc.
  • Contribute to data models and forecasting efforts in collaboration with software development and testing teams.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Liaise with the Application Development team (especially developers and project managers) for database access, query optimization, and solution architecture.
  • Act as a bridge between MIS and functional business users, ensuring data solutions align with business goals.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain data documentation, SOPs, and protocols in alignment with IT governance policies.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, audit, and security guidelines.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI / Tableau, Python/R (preferred), ERP data familiarity
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex datasets into business insights
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to data accuracy and formatting
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Teamwork: Works well with developers, report generators, and infra teams
