Business Development Manager – Organic Lead Generation Growth Engineering Impact Suite & Zavmo Location: India (Remote) | Target Market: UK EdTech – Enterprise & Educational Institutions Experience: 10+ years EdTech sales with UK/USA companies Compensation: INR 10-14L base + commission (OTE: INR 16-22L) ABOUT US Growth Engineering (founded 2003): gamified LMS serving Apple, Cisco, L'Oréal, HP. Twenty-two years proven results. Iridescent Technology (founded 2022): Zavmo – AI-powered learning companion. Training Magazine's Top 20 AI Innovation Learning Tools 2025. Maps to National Occupational Standards and OFQUAL qualifications. THE ROLE Sole person responsible for converting marketing-qualified leads into sales-qualified meetings with senior decision-makers. Report directly to Marketing Manager. Book meetings with L&D Directors, Chief Learning Officers, and OD leaders at UK enterprises and educational institutions. Work with MLQs from and plus LinkedIn campaigns. This requires deep learning technology understanding and ability to engage senior leadership with credibility. We need proven, stable track record from UK/USA-based EdTech companies. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Management: - Own complete MLQ-to-meeting pipeline across both brands - Respond to all inbound enquiries within 24 hours - Prioritise leads by seniority, budget authority, product fit Qualification & Discovery: - Conduct qualification calls using BANT methodology - Assess whether prospects need Impact Suite (gamification), Zavmo (AI personalisation), or integrated solution - Identify organisational challenges and decision-making process Meeting Booking: - Schedule qualified meetings with senior L&D/OD leaders - Ensure meetings meet strict qualification criteria - Prepare detailed pre-meeting briefings for sales team - Coordinate calendars across time zones (India to UK) Marketing Partnership: - Work closely with Marketing Manager on lead quality and campaign performance - Provide weekly feedback on messaging effectiveness and market intelligence - Track conversion rates, meeting bookings, and pipeline TARGETS Monthly: - Book 10-15 qualified meetings with senior leaders - Process 100-150 MLQs across both brands - Maintain 18-25% meeting conversion rate - 24-hour response time on all enquiries Quarterly: - Generate 30-40 qualified meetings - Contribute to 2-3 crore in closed revenue MEETING QUALIFICATION CRITERIA - L&D Director, CLO, Head of OD level - Budget authority confirmed - 500+ employees OR regulated industry - Clear business need for gamified learning, skills intelligence, or compliance - Active project within 6-12 months ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - 10+ years consistently hitting EdTech sales targets with proven meeting-booking and revenue contribution - Stable employment history with UK or USA-based companies - Proven UK enterprise sales experience – multinationals, private companies, educational institutions - Extensive senior-level engagement – comfortable with C-suite and director-level contacts - Excellent English – native-level fluency with perfect grammar and professional business writing. Non-negotiable - Deep understanding of learning technology – LMS, mobile learning, gamification, AI in learning, compliance - Multi-product sales experience - CRM mastery – Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar - Self-motivated and highly organised – proven ability to work independently - Comfortable with UK business hours (approximately 1:30pm-10pm IST) - Verifiable references from UK/USA-based EdTech companies HIGHLY DESIRABLE - Experience with gamified learning platforms and AI learning technologies - Knowledge of apprenticeship levy, OFQUAL qualifications, NOS frameworks - Regulated industries experience (energy, finance, healthcare) - Established UK L&D community connections - LinkedIn Sales Navigator proficiency - Track record of 20%+ meeting conversion rates - Experience selling into 1,000+ employee organisations IDEAL CANDIDATE Proven professional with 10+ years solid, stable track record from reputable UK/USA-based EdTech companies. Knows UK market intimately. Excellent English communicator with native-level fluency – perfect grammar and culturally appropriate business communication. Thrives working independently as sole lead conversion specialist. Understands why senior leaders take meetings. Can articulate how organisations struggle with engagement (gamification solution) and personalisation (AI solution). Comfortable discussing gamification science and AI capabilities without hype. Respectful, professional, persistent. Builds lasting relationships through genuine interest in client success. Takes ownership of entire MLQ-to-meeting pipeline with strong initiative.
