About the Role:
We are looking for an area sales manager to sell our products mainly to Hotels, Restaurants & Caterers. This is a fast-paced, fun, and varied position. The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Requirements:
Flexibility to work when the company needs you
2-5 year quota carrying sales experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven experience in sales and business development
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Sound knowledge of the spice industry and market trends
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Willingness to travel within the designated area
Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed sales targets
Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
Candidate Requirements:
Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
2-5 years of bachelor's quota-carrying sales experience
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related fields
