About the position :

We are looking for a Purchasing associate to join our teamand enrich our Purchasing Organization with Purchasing expertise& Commodity Cost Analysis knowledge Analysis toolsunderstanding Strategic Mind and Creativity and divergent thinking.Talented associate to work in Global Purchasing Support Groups withan ability to influence internal & external stakeholders withPrompt and Proactive Support on Purchasing projects keepingcommitments on the SLAs TATs and deadlines.

Role andResponsibility:

Monitor and analyze market trends for all contracted commodities(e.g. resin ferrous & nonferrous metals polypropylene etc.)collaborating with suppliers to obtain updated pricing for upcomingperiods in accordance with contract terms.

Obtain offers for newly added items andaccurately update the pricing mechanism.

Efficiently manage contracted commodities andforeign exchange updates in the system ensuring update in SAP bycoordinating with relevant teams. Track and report variances to theleadership team.

Identifyopportunities to automate manual processes within the pricingmechanism leveraging technologies such as Power Automate Power AppsVBA programming Macro programming etc. to enhance efficiency andaccuracy.

Collaborate withthe Sourcing Leader regularly to identify relevant categories forproject expansion. Explore opportunities to replicate a similarmodel for noncontracted commodities.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives withinprocurement operations utilizing SAP and other tools to streamlineworkflows enhance efficiency and facilitate datadrivendecisionmaking.

PreparingRFQ documents including specifications and terms & conditionsidentify potential suppliers manages the receipt of RFQ responsesfrom suppliers ensuring that responses are complete accurate andsubmitted on time.

Evaluate RFQ responses conduct quantitative analysis comparing bidsand assessing the overall value proposition offered by eachsupplier. Negotiate with suppliers based on Approved AuthorityGuidelines.

Develop andmaintain detailed SOPs for procurement processes to streamlineoperations ensure consistency and capture procedural detailseffectively for reference and training purposes.

Establish and monitor SLAs tomeasure the effectiveness of sourcing activities. Regularly reportperformance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement tomanagement and stakeholders.

Develop maintain and enhance relationships withstakeholders including understanding internal customer requirementsforecasting growth opportunities preparing roadmaps and buildingcapabilities for future readiness.

Actively participate in global Purchasing Supportenhancement projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiencyin procurement operations.

Experience requirement: (MustHave)

03 to 07years of purchasing experience preferably in the service deliveryindustry.

Strongproficiency in Excel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Process Automation appssuch as Power Automate Power Apps Visual Basic programming Pythonprogramming etc.

Handsonprocess automation projects.

Proficiency in the Mandarin (Chinese) language ispreferred.

Educational Qualification requirement:

Bachelorsdegree in engineering (any stream)

Organizational Relationships:

Reports to AMPurchasing

Regularinteractions with Global Purchasing Organization Stakeholders andSuppliers.
