Role & responsibilities :

  • Lead, develop and manage the HSE function at Bangalore Site.
  • Create a positive and developing climate, with respect to HSE.
  • Manage and develop the personnel and working processes within the site wrt HSE.
  • Ensure that site complies with all legal requirements
  • Ensure that site meets AN HSE Standards and Directives.
  • Establish plans and site objectives according to the objectives, frames and prioritizations of the business
  • Fulfil objectives with respect to improved HSE performance targets
  • Ensure completion of all relevant statutory documentation related to HSE inline with local laws.
  • Establish, apply and develop an efficient HSE Management Model for Site.
  • Manage the HSE budget for the department/site.
  • Lead, coordinate and execute HSE element of the projects chosen by the site.
  • Participate and represent Site in external and internal HSE networks Compliance statutory matters for the site @ Bangalore.
  • Hazard study leader and carryout the Hazard study of site and support other site in India on Hazard study
  • Lead site as a PSM champion
  • Contribute to BBS program at site
  • Conduct audit and ensure PTW compliance
  • Ensure the implementation of MOC/RA/Hazard study/AIG/PSM
  • Ensure time-to-time audits and rectification of HSE related concerns
  • Conduct Industrial Hygiene survey, Environment monitoring
  • Ensure WTP(ETP,STP) are operated in compliance with KSPCB requirement

Preferred candidate profile :

  • Engineering Graduate + Degree in Industrial Safety
  • 6+years experience in Manufacturing Safety setup.
  • Good knowledge of local laws & regulations & rapport with statutory bodies.
  • Should be fluent in local language
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships.
