Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to spearhead the sales of our cutting-edge claims processing solution to hospitals across Bhopal. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare technology adoption, working directly with hospital administrators, finance teams, and decision-makers to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce administrative burden.

Key Responsibilities & Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and engage with hospitals, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities in Bhopal and surrounding areas
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessment to understand each facility's claims processing challenges
  • Present and demonstrate Medpho's claims processing solution to hospital management teams, finance departments, and IT decision-makers
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with consistent follow-up and relationship management
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by management
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and service agreements tailored to client requirements

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including Hospital Administrators, CFOs, IT Heads, and Finance Managers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle and facilitate smooth handover to implementation teams
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to identify expansion opportunities and ensure satisfaction
  • Attend industry events, healthcare conferences, and networking sessions to expand professional network

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights on market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities
  • Gather feedback from prospects and clients to inform product development and improvement initiatives
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, client interactions, and market intelligence in the system

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate solution positioning and feasibility assessment
  • Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Provide market feedback to product development team for continuous improvement
  • Support marketing initiatives through case studies, testimonials, and referral programs

Required Qualifications: Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Additional certifications in healthcare management or sales methodology preferred

Professional Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales (preferably in healthcare technology, SaaS, or related industries) OR Medical Representative role with pharmaceutical companies
  • Demonstrated track record of relationship building with healthcare providers and hospital stakeholders
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to demonstrate software solutions
  • Basic understanding of healthcare operations, insurance processes, and medical billing

  • Existing network of contacts in Bhopal's healthcare sector
  • Two-wheeler license and own vehicle for client visits
