Job Description
Are you a tech enthusiast with a passion for MAC support? We are seeking an inspired Onsite MAC Support Engineer to oversee, monitor, and troubleshoot our computer systems. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve issues, implement software updates, monitor networks and servers, ensure data security, and optimize system performance.
Role Overview:
  • Actively monitors and reports on technology performance and usage
  • Contributes to the development of strategies and processes for system/application administration
  • Manages and enhances the current JAMF Infrastructure Management and JAMF Self-Service library
  • Engineers, tests, deploys, and maintains corporate image for all Mac OSX devices via JAMF
  • Validates new Apple hardware and provides support for imaging and troubleshooting new Mac computer deployments
  • Manages patching cycles and client application upgrades, and packages applications for deployment to Mac devices
  • Utilizes scripting to automate administrative tasks on all Mac devices, creates, and manages policies for Mac device administration
  • Documents procedures, communicates effectively, and provides training to downstream support teams
  • Offers Level 3 Mac troubleshooting and support
  • Migrates devices and policies from existing JAMF environments to current JAMF cloud instance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or relevant work experience
  • Experience with Jamf Pro / Jamf Cloud, Mac to Active Directory integration, and implementing Macs in an enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with Okta, JAMF Connect, and JAMF Composer for deployable JAMF packages
  • Bash/Shell scripting skills; broad technical understanding of multi-operating system environments
  • Comprehensive troubleshooting skills to support MacOS and iOS in an enterprise environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • 5 years VIP support experience
