Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary candidate to lead our newly developed edtech platform as it transitions to an independent entity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education technology, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving growth and innovation. The candidate will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and financial performance of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement the long-term vision and strategy for the edtech platform.Identify new market opportunities and drive business growth.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

2. Operational ManagementOversee day-to-day operations ensuring the platform runs efficiently and effectively.Implement best practices in product development, user experience, and customer service.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

3. Financial OversightManage the financial performance of the platform, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support growth initiatives.Optimize resource allocation and investment to maximize ROI.

4. Team Building and LeadershipBuild and lead a high-performing executive team.Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.Mentor and develop staff to achieve their full potential.

5. Stakeholder EngagementEngage with key stakeholders including customers, partners, investors, and the community.Represent the platform at industry events and conferences.Build strong relationships with educational institutions, regulatory bodies, and other relevant organizations.

Qualifications:

1. Education:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Education, Technology, or a related field.An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.

2. Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within the edtech industry.Proven track record of successfully scaling a tech platform or product.Strong understanding of the education sector and emerging trends in edtech.

3. Skills:Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Strong network within the edtech and broader educational community.

4. Personal Attributes:Visionary and innovative mindset.Results-driven and performance-oriented.High level of integrity and ethical standards.Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
