Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary candidate to lead our newly developed edtech platform as it transitions to an independent entity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education technology, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving growth and innovation. The candidate will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and financial performance of the platform.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the long-term vision and strategy for the edtech platform.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


2. Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring the platform runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Implement best practices in product development, user experience, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


3. Financial Oversight

  • Manage the financial performance of the platform, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support growth initiatives.
  • Optimize resource allocation and investment to maximize ROI.


4. Team Building and Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing executive team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Mentor and develop staff to achieve their full potential.


5. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with key stakeholders including customers, partners, investors, and the community.
  • Represent the platform at industry events and conferences.
  • Build strong relationships with educational institutions, regulatory bodies, and other relevant organizations.



Qualifications:


1. Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Education, Technology, or a related field.
  • An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.


2. Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within the edtech industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully scaling a tech platform or product.
  • Strong understanding of the education sector and emerging trends in edtech.


3. Skills:

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strong network within the edtech and broader educational community.
