Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary candidate to lead our newly developed edtech platform as it transitions to an independent entity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education technology, proven leadership skills, and a track record of driving growth and innovation. The candidate will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and financial performance of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement the long-term vision and strategy for the edtech platform.- Identify new market opportunities and drive business growth.- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

2. Operational Management

- Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring the platform runs efficiently and effectively.- Implement best practices in product development, user experience, and customer service.- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

3. Financial Oversight

- Manage the financial performance of the platform, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.- Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support growth initiatives.- Optimize resource allocation and investment to maximize ROI.

4. Team Building and Leadership

- Build and lead a high-performing executive team.- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.- Mentor and develop staff to achieve their full potential.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

- Engage with key stakeholders including customers, partners, investors, and the community.- Represent the platform at industry events and conferences.- Build strong relationships with educational institutions, regulatory bodies, and other relevant organizations.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Education, Technology, or a related field.- An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.

2. Experience:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within the edtech industry.- Proven track record of successfully scaling a tech platform or product.- Strong understanding of the education sector and emerging trends in edtech.

3. Skills:

- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.- Strong network within the edtech and broader educational community.
