Job Description – ICU Nursing Staff

Position: ICU Nurse (Staff Nurse)
Location: Varanasi
Reporting To: ICU In charge / Nursing Superintendent / Duty Doctor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critically ill patients की 24x7 निगरानी करना (vital signs, oxygen level, BP, heart rate आदि)।
  • Ventilator, infusion pump, syringe pump जैसे ICU equipment को operate और monitor करना।
  • Doctor के निर्देशानुसार दवाइयाँ, IV fluids, injections और life support care देना।
  • Emergency situations (Code Blue, Cardiac Arrest आदि) में तुरंत response देना और CPR/Advanced Life Support provide करना।
  • Patient की daily assessment reports और medical records maintain करना।
  • Infection control protocols (hand hygiene, aseptic techniques) का पालन करना।
  • Patient और उनके attendants को treatment plan और nursing care के बारे में educate करना।
  • Multidisciplinary team (Doctors, Technicians, Paramedics) के साथ co-ordination करना।
  • Post-operative patients की critical care और monitoring करना।
  • ICU ward की cleanliness और medication stock की availability ensure करना।

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • GNM / B.Sc Nursing (M.Sc Nursing preferred for senior positions)
  • Nursing Council registration (valid)
  • 1–3 years of experience in ICU / Critical Care (fresher with ICU training may be considered)
  • Knowledge of ICU equipment (ventilator, defibrillator, infusion pump, monitoring devices)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stress and work in shifts (rotational duty)

  • Critical thinking and quick decision-making
  • Emergency management (BLS / ACLS certification preferred)
  • Patient care and empathy
  • Teamwork and adaptability
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8, ₹15,000.00 per month
