Key Responsibilities

  • Provide round-the-clock medical care and monitoring of admitted patients.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments, take medical history, and perform clinical examinations.
  • Assist consultants and specialists during patient rounds and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies (e.g., Code Blue, trauma, cardiac arrest).
  • Prescribe medications and treatment as per hospital protocols and consultant's advice.
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient records and medical reports.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff, paramedical teams, and support services for smooth patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and progress.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and medical regulations.

Requirements

  • MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
  • Valid Medical Registration (MCI/State Medical Council).
  • [0–3] years of experience as RMO / Duty Doctor (freshers with internship experience may also apply).
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide first-line treatment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (Day/Night).
