Key Responsibilities
- Provide round-the-clock medical care and monitoring of admitted patients.
- Conduct initial patient assessments, take medical history, and perform clinical examinations.
- Assist consultants and specialists during patient rounds and procedures.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies (e.g., Code Blue, trauma, cardiac arrest).
- Prescribe medications and treatment as per hospital protocols and consultant's advice.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records and medical reports.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, paramedical teams, and support services for smooth patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and progress.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and medical regulations.
Requirements
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid Medical Registration (MCI/State Medical Council).
- [0–3] years of experience as RMO / Duty Doctor (freshers with internship experience may also apply).
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide first-line treatment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (Day/Night).
