Job Description – OT Technician

Position: OT Technician
Department: Operation Theatre
Location: Varanasi
Reporting To: OT Incharge / Nursing Superintendent / Surgeon

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation theatre को sterile और infection-free रखना और OT protocols का पालन करना।
• Surgical instruments, equipment, linen और disposables को surgery से पहले prepare करना।
• Surgeon और nursing staff को surgery के दौरान assist करना।
• Anesthesia equipment, suction machine, cautery, monitoring devices आदि setup और check करना।
• Used instruments को decontaminate, sterilize और arrange करना।
• OT schedule के अनुसार surgeries की तैयारी और coordination करना।
• Operation theatre में patient को safely shift करना और proper positioning ensure करना।
• Surgery के दौरान specimen collection और labeling में सहायता करना।
• Emergency surgeries के लिए OT को तुरंत तैयार करना।
• OT stock (medicines, consumables, instruments) का record maintain करना।

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in OT Technology (DOTT / B.Sc OT Technology)
• 1–3 years of experience in OT (freshers with training can also be considered)
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, surgical instruments और OT safety protocols
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of surgical instruments & OT equipment
• Infection control and sterilization practices
• Teamwork और surgeon/nursing staff को support करने की क्षमता
• Emergency handling skills
• Good communication & patient handling

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹7, ₹15,000.00 per month
