Senior Technical Writer
candidate with experience in product documentation, knowledge of DITA specializations, and Agile development cycle to join our team in Bangalore.You will report to our Manager, Documentation.As a Senior Technical Writer, you will create product documentation, videos, and tutorials. You will work with software engineers, UX designers, product managers, and other doc team members to create great user-facing content.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll DoWrite technical content that describes product functionalityCompile and test online helpCreate project plans, maintain schedules for specific projects, and communicate documentation status to documentation manager or leadDevelop tutorials to improve first user experienceWork with partners to deliver meaningful error messages, useful UI strings, and develop clear terminologyContribute how-to articles, knowledge base articles, videos, walkthroughs, and other useful contentContribute to documentation team processesEdit own content for completeness, style, and accuracy to ensure it reflects Informatica's commitment to qualityCollaborate on projects with other technical writersRole EssentialsBA/MA/BS or equivalent (engineering, technical communications, humanities, social sciences)5+ years of relevant professional experienceExcellent leadership and project management skillsAble to quickly learn technical informationAble to meet deadlines and help others meet themAble to multitask, prioritize, and follow schedulesAble to follow documentation processes and styleAble to understand customer requirements and incorporate them into the documentationAttentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, and owns and acts on quality problemsWhat We’d Like to SeeKnowledge of data management, big data, relational and/or No SQL database, and cloud concepts.Experience with DITA, XMetaL, content management systems, source control systems, Jira, and Confluence.Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, video software, e-learning software, and/or Pendo.
