Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making and financial planning initiatives.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity, identifying potential risks or opportunities for optimization.

2. Bookkeeping and Recordkeeping:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Perform regular audits of financial data and documentation to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Organize and maintain financial records, files, and documentation in accordance with recordkeeping requirements.

3. Tax Compliance and Reporting:

  • Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and property tax filings, in compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring timely updates to tax reporting processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or office management roles, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and data analysis.
