Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Quilon. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budget preparation. The Junior Accountant will also support the preparation of tax returns and financial reports, and collaborate with the finance team on financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus
