Bengaluru (onsite)Job Description:We are seeking experienced & highly organized Project Management Office (PMO) personnel.The PMO personnel will be responsible for establishing & maintaining project management standards, processes, and methodologies across the firm.They will need to have the ability to work closely with and build good relationships with Operations, Technology, and with other associated delivery partners.The PMO team will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of programmes and projects in the firm’s ‘change portfolio.’The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement project management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.Provide guidance & support to project managers/project teams throughout the project lifecycle.Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of projects to ensure they are completed on time and according to quality standards.Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, and dashboards to track project progress and performance.Integrate seamlessly with emerging tools & technologies that accelerate PMO delivery.Conduct project reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.Manage project portfolios and prioritize projects based on strategic objectives, resource availability, and business priorities.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders & senior mgmt.Provide regular updates/reports on project status, risks, and issues to senior management.Support in business planning activities which may include financial, tech & resource planning.Support & potentially train up new resources during their end to end on-boarding process.Analyze and revise business operating practices to improve efficiency.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required & educational studies in Project/Programme Management field is desired.Demonstrate a strong understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, Data Analytics & Automation tools that will impact the way PMO services are delivered in the future.Minimum of 4 years of experience in a project management office role.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.Experience in developing and implementing project management processes and best practices.Proficiency in project management software and tools e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, TrelloStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Your role as a leaderAt Deloitte India, we believe in the importance of leadership at all levels.
