All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.About the Role : The Senior Manager– Buying (Accessories) role is a comprehensive position that involves all aspects of business, including analytics, financial planning, range planning, brand strategy, and marketplace vendor management.Responsibilities :Responsible to optimize sales by monitoring:RevenueMarginsGrowth of CategoryReview style level performance based on metrics such as ROS, Sell thru, DRR, Discount.Financial analysis - Sales, Margin, Discount and Inventory related analysisRange/ Assortment Planning:Product-Brand mappingSeason wise Product Range planning/ Assortment working based on past performance & growth / revenue targets to ensure that the brand is well representedEffectively planning and forecasting in order to maximize profitabilityTrend forecasts and implement sales plansActively participate in Brand development/ Range/Product development through analytics-based insightsVisibility Planning: Category visibility planning & interventions - planning banners for respective brands and raising banner requests on timeInventory Management:Planning for the inventory flow for entire brandWork in close coordination with the Planning and Pricing team for optimizing Scale / Inventory/OTB/Capacities.Management of OIs / Inwards, Cataloguing and driving and improvising the processes.Marketplace and Vendor Management:Identify gaps in product offerings & subsequently introduce / onboard new vendors across white spacesVendor on-boarding and day-to-day operationsVendor-Product Mapping: Coordinating with MP vendors to ensure the category gaps are appropriately fulfilled, the collection is live on time, pricing is as per demand.Qualifications :6+ yrs experience in the buying/ category management role with relevant Accessories (Non apparel category).Strong communication and project management skillsThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environmentFamiliarity with Category management with understanding of Market dynamics and sound business judgementStrong MS Excel skills with numbers acumen and be comfortable in collecting, analysing and interpreting dataExperience with handling Market place will be an added advantageAbility to negotiate and sustain networking relationshipsCustomer centric, creative & analytical problem-solving mindsetAbility to work as part of a team & collaborate with othersRequired Skills : Strong analytical skills, project management, vendor management, financial analysis, and communication skills.Preferred Skills : Experience in marketplace management and familiarity with category management.
