Job Description

As a Global Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for all compliances (Direct Tax, Indirect Tax and other Corporate Compliances) globally for Qure with legal entities in India, US and UK. We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm / Corporate with a global presence.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Direct Tax (Including Transfer Pricing) Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct tax returns, tax assessments, and appeals, adhering to regulatory requirements and deadlines.
  • Indirect Tax Compliance: Oversee and manage the compliance of Goods and Services Tax (GST)/ VAT returns, audits, reconciliations, and addressing any related compliance issues or discrepancies.
  • Tax Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on direct and indirect tax matters, including tax planning, structuring of transactions, and identifying tax-efficient strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
  • Tax Audit Support: Assist in tax audits, assessments, and appeals by coordinating with tax authorities, preparing documentation, and representing the organization's interests professionally.
  • Client Engagement: Interact with clients during contracting stage to address all matters related to compliances.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Keep abreast of changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure compliance and develop strategies that align with legal requirements and business objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment to achieve departmental and organisation goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with colleagues in finance to incorporate tax provisions, disclosures, and relevant financial information accurately in financial statements following applicable accounting standards.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special tax projects, such as tax due diligence, restructuring activities, mergers, and acquisitions, providing valuable tax insights and analysis.
  • Exposure to Preparation of Finance Statements would be preferred.

The role would expect continuous Learning and Development. Pursuing ongoing professional development, including attending training sessions, seminars, and obtaining relevant certifications to enhance tax expertise and stay updated with industry best practices.

Overall, as a Global Compliance Manager your role involves managing a broad spectrum of tax responsibilities to ensure the organization's tax compliance, optimize tax efficiencies, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
