Key responsibilities :Talent Acquisition & ManagementDesign and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent specific to the pharmaceutical research industry.Oversee end-to-end hiring processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.Build a talent pipeline for key positions, collaborating with academic and research institutions to support organizational growth.Employee Relations & EngagementFoster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention.Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, handling concerns and grievances professionally and efficiently.Organize and manage employee engagement activities, including training sessions and team-building events.Performance ManagementEstablish and manage performance management systems, including goal-setting, appraisals, feedback, and career development.Work closely with department heads to set meaningful performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.Compliance & Policy DevelopmentEnsure HR practices comply with labor laws, industry regulations, and organizational policies.Develop and update HR policies to foster a research-centric, compliant workplace environment.Learning & DevelopmentIdentify skills gaps and create training programs to enhance employee capabilities and support their professional growth.Partner with external experts to deliver specialized training on pharmaceutical compliance, clinical trials, and other advanced research topics.Compensation & BenefitsDesign and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits packages to attract and retain high-quality talent.Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and other compensation-related functions.HR Analytics & ReportingUse HR data to analyze workforce trends, turnover, employee satisfaction, and other critical metrics.Prepare HR reports and provide insights to senior management for strategic workforce planning.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals to provide high-quality HR services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Compliance, to meet organizational objectives.
Requisite for the role:-Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of HR management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or research sector.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.Proficiency in HR software and data analytics for strategic decision-making.
