We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead the Human Resources department at our pharmaceutical research center in Manesar, Haryana. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR management, particularly within research and development environments, and demonstrate an ability to build a positive organizational culture that supports innovation and compliance. This is a strategic role that requires a dynamic HR professional skilled in talent management, employee relations, policy development, and team leadership.
Key responsibilities :
Talent Acquisition & Management
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent specific to the pharmaceutical research industry.
- Oversee end-to-end hiring processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build a talent pipeline for key positions, collaborating with academic and research institutions to support organizational growth.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, handling concerns and grievances professionally and efficiently.
- Organize and manage employee engagement activities, including training sessions and team-building events.
Performance Management
- Establish and manage performance management systems, including goal-setting, appraisals, feedback, and career development.
- Work closely with department heads to set meaningful performance metrics aligned with organizational goals.
Compliance & Policy Development
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, industry regulations, and organizational policies.
- Develop and update HR policies to foster a research-centric, compliant workplace environment.
Learning & Development
- Identify skills gaps and create training programs to enhance employee capabilities and support their professional growth.
- Partner with external experts to deliver specialized training on pharmaceutical compliance, clinical trials, and other advanced research topics.
Compensation & Benefits
- Design and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits packages to attract and retain high-quality talent.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and other compensation-related functions.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Use HR data to analyze workforce trends, turnover, employee satisfaction, and other critical metrics.
- Prepare HR reports and provide insights to senior management for strategic workforce planning.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals to provide high-quality HR services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Compliance, to meet organizational objectives.
Requisite for the role:-
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of HR management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or research sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficiency in HR software and data analytics for strategic decision-making.
