JOB PURPOSE Responsible for ensuring the software builds of the smart meters and providing technical support, troubleshooting of all meter software related issues and ensure contract SLAs are adhered ORGANISATION CHART Manager IT --> Associate Manager - Metering --> Reports To --> Position Title KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsibilities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) SAT / SLA Approval of each meter lot from Discom. To conduct monthly SAT for the maximum meter numbers possible by strong coordination with operations team. Providing technical support and troubleshooting of all meter related issues and ensure contract SLAs are adhered Liaison with TSP and HES providers ensuring meter is all the time connected and firmware is timely upgraded Validation of new meter firmware integration with HES/MDM and communication system Meter Validation/ Approvals During Implementation from Discom Project SLAs should be met on daily / monthly basis. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS Hardware, Software, Communication Tech vendor/partners, Network service providers INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Technology Head, Head IT, Operations Head & team, Business Team (If required) FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS Safeguarding SLA Deductions for GMR Clear demarcation of the responsibly in case of any field failure OTHER DIMENSIONS Minimize client escalations and maintain positive environment. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS B.Tech (Preferably Computer Science) / MCA RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 8 + years of total experience in communications domain (Cellular / RF) Candidate be proficient in using tools such as planning and optimization software Sound knowledge of MPLS, ILL and LAN topology and security, and familiar with the regulatory environment of the telecommunications industry COMPETENCIES Regulatory Compliance (Practitioner) Meter O and M and Troubleshooting (Practitioner) Communication and Technology Management (Practitioner) Meter Hardware Analysis (Practitioner) Performance Monitoring (Practitioner) Social Awareness Entrepreneurship Personal Effectiveness Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking Planning & Decision Making Capability Building Strategic Orientation Stakeholder Focus Networking Execution & Results Teamwork & Interpersonal influence
