Job Description: Associate Program Manager About Clean Electric Clean Electric is a Series A funded battery tech company focused on designing and manufacturing advanced li-ion batteries for EVs and energy storage applications which enable 12-min rapid charging, long life and unrivalled safety. We are pushing the boundaries of the EV industry with our Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, and proprietary dynamic charging algorithms running on a custom-engineered in-house battery management system. We are a Tier-1 supplier of fast-charging, long-life premium lithium-ion battery packs to leading 2W/3W/4W/LCV EV OEMs across India. Our products focus on: - High cycle life & long operating reliability - Fast charging capabilities for high-utilization vehicles - Safety & consistency built for Indian climatic and road conditions - Premium performance validated across leading OEM programs As an Associate Program Manager, you will act as the central link between OEM customers, engineering, validation, quality, manufacturing, and commercial teams, ensuring smooth execution of EV battery pack programs from concept to SOP. Home | Clean Electric New | Clean Electric: About | About the Role We are looking for a sharp Associate Program Manager who is extremely strong in Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, and structured thinking. The role involves supporting cross-functional projects, analysing performance data, preparing business reviews, and driving execution across teams. If you enjoy solving problems with numbers, creating clean presentations, and ensuring projects stay on track, this role is a great fit. Role Description and Key Responsibilities The role involves tasks including but not limited to - 1. Program & Project Management - Coordinate and track end-to-end execution of cross-functional projects. - Maintain project plans, timelines, dependencies, and risk logs. - Drive weekly reviews, follow-ups, and on-ground execution alignment. - Ensure tasks are completed on time by collaborating with internal teams (sales, operations, product, finance, etc.). 2. Advanced Excel & Data Analytics (Critical Skill) You must be excellent in Excel: - Build dashboards, trackers, and performance reports. - Analyze trends, identify gaps, and propose improvements. - Build financial and business models (revenue, cost, forecasts). - Perform scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis. - Use functions like: XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, IF, Pivot Tables, Charts, Data Cleaning. 3. PowerPoint – High-Quality Presentation Skills - You should be able to create crisp, clean, and structured PPTs: - Business review decks (weekly, monthly, quarterly). - Project progress updates for leadership. - Analytical insights turned into simple, understandable slides. - Visual storytelling with problem–impact–solution–action flow. - Ability to translate complex data into executive-ready slides. 4. Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving - Break down complex business problems into simple, actionable insights. - Build data-backed recommendations for management. - Evaluate operational bottlenecks and propose process improvements. - Prepare cost-benefit analyses, TCO models, ROI assessments (if required). Desired Qualifications and Experience - 3–6 years of experience in program management, analytics, operations, consulting, or strategy. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive, or related fields). MBA is a plus - Preference for candidates from Tier-1 and Tier-2 engineering or management institutes. - Strong Excel and PPT skills (non-negotiable). - Excellent communication (written + verbal). - Structured thinking and strong attention to detail. - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - High ownership and bias for execution. Preferred Background - Experience in EV, automotive, battery, tech, SaaS, manufacturing, or operations. - Experience working with senior leadership review cycles. - Exposure to cross-functional coordination roles. - Experience in Founder’s Office / CEO Office / MD Office roles (high strategic exposure). - Experience in startups and/or high-scale growth organizations preferred.
