Overview:
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for our organisation. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop and implement sales strategies, and foster strong customer relationships to maximise sales opportunities and expand market presence.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Management:
●      Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
●      Set clear sales targets, performance expectations, and KPIs for the team.
●      Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to help team members achieve their goals.
Sales Strategy Development:
●      Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and business objectives.
●      Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive threats to inform sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management:
●      Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
●      Understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points to tailor sales approaches and solutions.
Sales Process Optimization:
●      Streamline and optimise the sales process to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
●      Implement best practices and tools for sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Business Development:
●      Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach and grow sales.
●      Develop and nurture strategic partnerships and alliances to drive sales growth and market expansion.
Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:
●      Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, trends, and KPIs to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
●      Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management review.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
●      Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.
●      Coordinate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve issues effectively.
Compliance and Ethics:
●      Ensure that all sales activities and practices comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
●      Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability within the sales organisation.
Qualifications:
●      Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
●      Proven track record of success in sales management roles, with a minimum of (X) years of experience in sales leadership.
●      Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
●      Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
●      Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business growth.
●      Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
●      Industry-specific knowledge and experience may be preferred.
