Job Title: HR Manager
Location: Siliguri
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Director/CEO
Job Summary:
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, payroll, compliance, and HR policies. The role requires a strategic mindset to align HR practices with business goals while ensuring a positive work culture and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance management.
- Oversee performance management processes and guide managers in employee evaluations.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to build a motivated workforce.
- Supervise payroll, attendance, and leave management systems.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
- Maintain HR records, reports, and HRMS database with accuracy.
- Advise management on HR best practices, organizational structure, and succession planning.
- Lead disciplinary procedures and exit formalities with professionalism.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (5–8 years) in HR management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS tools, MS Office, and payroll management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
