About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Content Intern who will help us stay ahead of the latest trends and create engaging, timely content for our platforms. This role requires someone who is highly active on social media, has a keen eye for viral content, and can transform trending news and stories into crisp, engaging posts for our audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Google News, and Inshorts to track trending and viral content daily.
  • Use AI content tools to generate drafts and refine them through manual editing for accuracy, tone, and engagement.
  • Write, edit, and publish short-form content pieces optimized for different platforms.
  • Create eye-catching graphics, stories, and posts using Canva when required.
  • Assist in creating catchy headlines, captions, and hashtags to boost reach.
  • Coordinate with the social media team to ensure content is posted across all platforms on time.
  • Stay updated with pop culture, news, and digital trends to recommend new content ideas.
  • Ensure all content follows brand guidelines, is fact-checked, and error-free.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in digital media, pop culture, and current affairs.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English (clarity + creativity).
  • Familiarity with platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and news apps.
  • Basic knowledge of AI content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, ).
  • Proficiency in Canva for basic content design and editing.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Students pursuing Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
