Java Production Support Engineer

About Position:

We are hiring a Java Production Support Engineer who will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems. This role is ideal for professionals who have strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot and are passionate about solving real-time production issues while contributing to development efforts. Work Split- 70% Support + 30% Development

What You'll Do:

• Use your technical and analytical skills to solve critical customer/field technical escalations from our Support, Professional Services, Sales and Pre-Sales.
• Work along with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about the ongoing escalation and their statuses.
• Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
• Build tools and techniques to help with Root Cause Analysis using the data available on platform and by digging deep into code base.
• Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
• Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Work with Product management team to identify and implement backlog requirements which could add value to product.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years' experience in technical product support type role. Preferably in escalations team.
• Experience working as L3 escalation engineer taking care of complex customer issues.
• Software development experience using Java technologies.
• Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
• Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
• Experience troubleshooting and helping with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issue.
• Passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks. A team player who works well in collaborative environments.
• Display a high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Scripting; Splunk; network troubleshooting; REST API troubleshooting; Query database
