This Position reports to:

Service Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will serve as the "Modernization Portfolio Manager" and have the chance to oversee the marketing of ABBs products to specific market segments while managing those products through their entire lifecycle according to market demands and the strategy and targets of the division/product group/business line. Each day, you will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of an offer. You will also support business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business for services Division in Bangalore- Peenya, India

You will be mainly accountable for below:

  • In this position, you will work and manage strategic initiatives related to Drives Service Modernization SL, which includes ABB own and third-party system evolution.
  • Ensure outside-in positioning and promotion of the entire modernization service portfolio.
  • You will support the Local Clusters to identify service sales opportunities for expanding ABBs value to the customer leveraging the whole breath of Modernization portfolio.
  • Align across the three service lines and other divisions on the service offering and ensure consistency in communication internally and externally.
  • Facilitate the development of product management skills within Motion Services division.
  • Align on common portfolio management process, tools and way of working across the division.
  • Improve business transparency with product line reporting and additional metrics.

Qualifications for the role

  • Education: BE/BTech -Electrical/ EEE or similar discipline
  • Minimum 10 + Years of experience in with Drive, retrofit modernization etc
  • Engineer should be experienced in product development and management of drives, mainly LV Drives.
