Position Overview:
K3-Innovations is seeking a US Pharma Recruiter to support our staffing needs within the Life Sciences and Pharma sectors in the United States region. This role is critical for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in pharmaceutical and life sciences roles, while ensuring compliance with US visa requirements and tax terms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US recruitment practices, visa processes, and tax implications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of K3-Innovations by attracting top talent for our US operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing: Identify and source qualified candidates for roles in the Life Sciences and Pharma & Biotech industries in the US market.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough candidate screenings to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit for roles in the US.
- US Visa Expertise: Manage recruitment processes with a strong understanding of various US work visas (H1-B, L1, OPT, CPT, etc.) and their implications for hiring.
- US Tax Terms Knowledge: Ensure compliance with US tax terms including W2, 1099, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C), and advise candidates accordingly.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates, tracking progress and interactions using CRM software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the US hiring managers and HR teams to understand staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Industry Networking: Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to network and source potential candidates.
- Compliance: Stay updated on US labor laws, tax regulations, and immigration policies to ensure all recruitment activities are compliant.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR within the Life Sciences and Pharma domains, preferably with US recruitment experience.
- US Visa Knowledge: Strong understanding of US visa types and processes (e.g., H1-B, L1, OPT, CPT) and how they impact recruitment and hiring.
- Tax Terms Expertise: Familiarity with US tax terms including W2, 1099, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C).
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in ATS software (e.g., Ceipal, etc) and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Goal-Oriented: Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets.
