This positionisto headtheCompliancefunctionfor the SiemensEnergy businessof Siemens Limited inIndia. Reporting to the Head of RegionalCompliance, the individual will be responsible for working directly with SEstakeholders within the assigned region (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan,Maldives). The incumbent willbeprimarilyresponsibleforadheringandmeasuringcompliance,includingthesixassignedriskareasof Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Trust, Data Privacy, ExportControl and Human Rights. Theresponsibilityincludesensuringthat thecompanyoperateswithinethicalandlegalframeworkwhile adheringto the company'spolicies andprocedures.The rolewillassist SiemensEnergybusinessexecute its strategy inIndia, including separationof the Company’s energy business intoa separate stockmarket listed entity bywayof de-merger Postdemerger, this position will head the compliance functionof the listed entity.

Responsibilities:

The focus of the Compliance Head of the SE business willbe to act as a business partner and business enabler, while implementing andmanaging an effective compliance program covering the defined risk areas. Thebroad areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

a)Business/StakeholderEngagement: Provide advisory and guidance to business stakeholders, employeesand other corporate teams relating to compliance topics and emerging riskareas.

b)PoliciesandProcedures:ImplementGlobalcompliancepoliciesandprocedures,tailoredtomeetlocal laws and regulations.

c)RiskAssessments: Conduct periodic and ongoing risk assessments to proactivelyidentify potential areas of non-compliance and work with stakeholders to defineand implement mitigation steps.

d)Investigationsupport:Supporttheindependentinvestigationteamwithongoinginvestigations,assist in implementing decisions of the local disciplinarycommittee, monitor and track implementation of remedial actions arising out ofinvestigations.

e)Monitoringandreporting:Conduct periodiccompliancemonitoringandchecksfordefinedriskareasand activities, conduct site reviews, report outcomes to local/globalmanagement, define and implement remedial actions. Also create and manageeffective action plans in response to audit observations and complianceviolations.

f)Training and awareness: Leverage globalresources and develop local content to conduct bespoke training and awarenessprograms to promote a culture of ethical decision making and compliance

Whatyouneedtomakea difference

a)Degreeorcertificationinlaw,finance,riskmanagement,accounting,auditing,businessmanagement or related fields. Master’sdegree is preferred.

b)Atleast15+yearsofexperience,preferablyinenergyindustry,highriskcountriesorrisk,compliance, governance roles. Core experiencein a compliance role will be an added advantage.


1TheBoardofDirectorsofSiemensLimitedatitsmeetingheldon14thMay2024approvedaschemeofarrangementfordemergerofitsenergybusinessinIndia.ThesharesofthedemergedentityisproposedtobelistedinNSEandBSE.Thistransactionissubject to receiptof approvals from approvals from statutory and regulatory authorities.

c)Strongknowledge of local and international laws relating compliance, morespecifically to the assigned risk areas.

d)Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, influenceand maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Fluency in English language is mandatory.

e)Abilitytoassumeresponsibilityformultipletopicsandresolvethemeffectively.

f)Highlyanalytical,innovativeapproachusingtech/data,withstrongattentiontodetail.

g)Flexibilitytotravel.
