Equity Research Analyst - Buyside

Location - Delhi - On site

Experience - 3+ years mandatory experience required in Equity Research

JOB DESCRIPTION:Based in Delhi, the research analyst will work with the portfolio managers and the research team to conduct deep- dive research on potential investment opportunities.Nature of Work Developing investment thesis on a particular stock independently

  • Performing industry analysis (key trends, key players and their competitive strategies, etc.) Benchmarking of key industry players main operational performance metrics
  • Performing financial statement analyses and valuation analyses of companies
  • Monitoring news, business trends and financial results of the investee companies and its competitors
  • Meeting companies and their competitors, suppliers, and customers to conduct primary research
  • Listening to quarterly conference calls, reading annual reports, attending conferences and preparing summary meeting & call notes

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Related work experience of 3-4 years in equity research, preferably buy-side
  • Self-driven, resourceful, go-getter attitude, with high integrity
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills Bachelors or graduate degree in Economics/Business/Math/Engg. CA and/or CFA will be a definite advantage
