Function: Institutional Equities Sell Side

Role Overview: A boutique investment firm is looking to onboard an Equity Research Analyst to support its institutional equities desk. This is a full-time role based in Delhi, ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of sell-side research experience and a strong interest in equity markets.

Engagement Structure: The selected candidate will begin with a structured 6-month internship. Post successful completion, the candidate will transition into a long-term analyst role with standard payroll disbursement and expanded responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:


• Support coverage across multiple sectors as assigned


• Assist in building financial models and valuation frameworks


• Contribute to earnings analysis, sector updates, and thematic research


• Prepare internal notes, data packs, and client-ready presentations


• Participate in management calls and investor interactions


• Coordinate with senior analysts and sales teams

Candidate Profile:


• 1+ year of experience in equity research (sell-side preferred)


• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques


• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in institutional research
