ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Global Media Solutions Team holds the responsibility for shaping the company's ad strategy and driving revenue growth. They play a crucial role in developing and implementing advertising initiatives, optimizing ad products, and maximizing revenue opportunities. By leveraging their expertise in ad operations, insights, and technologies, the team aims to deliver successful ad campaigns and reporting, effectively meeting the needs of both internal and external stakeholders while driving the company's overall business growth.

The role involves leading and managing the GSO Ad Trafficking & Ad Insights Teams to ensure successful ad execution and reporting for the GMS Ad Product suite. You will oversee various ad formats, including display, native, video, and custom elements, while maintaining SFTP protocol for secure data transfer. Collaborating with US-based leadership, you will prioritize and allocate resources, provide transparency into work processes, and make recommendations for process improvements. Additionally, you will support ad hoc ad operations requests, manage team growth and talent retention, and leverage ad product knowledge to support seamless operations and successful campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Lead the GSO Ad Trafficking & Ad Insights Teams supporting the GMS Ad Business. Ensure the successful delivery of both ad execution and reporting & insights for the GMS Ad Product suite, including formats such as: standard display, high impact display, native, video pre-roll, fashion galleries, custom elements, contest landing pages & lead generation, including SFTP protocol. Manage 2 Team Leads to attract & retain top talent as well as to grow their teams in their areas of specialization and ensure that their teams deliver a high quality and accurate work output as well as a high level of customer service. Collaborate with US based leadership to ensure your team follows agreed upon practices and that there is alignment on prioritization and resource allocation. Where needed, make recommendations for process improvements to US based leadership for consideration. Provide transparency into approach and process for work outputs. Support ad hoc ad operations requests, including, SFTP setup, emergency traffic requests and analysis of delivery discrepancies Collaborate on the creation of materials, training, and collateral to support the team to deliver successful campaigns & reporting for our business & out clients.  Communicate effectively on operational process, tagging, and specs to inform other team members of operational capabilities  Assist in maintaining product development and ad slots in OperativeOne, deals and ad slots within Google Ad Manager, and ad operations elements, such as Ads.txt. Monitor ad system performance (such as ad speed performance), identify if there are areas of improvement, provide proactive recommendations, and develop process to correct for optimal performance and future growth opportunities Assist the Ad Operations Manager with user acceptance testing projects, new ad format review, and actively involved with TKWW Product team to support the Global Media Solutions Business.  Leverage knowledge of ad products, inventory and reporting capabilities to work seamlessly across and inform needs of both Ad Traffic & Ad Insights.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

You have 3-5 years of experience working in Ad Operations & Ad Insights, required experience with Google Ad Manager, Ad Technologies & Business Intelligence Reporting Platforms. Experience managing teams with 6+ individuals & experience managing managers. Knowledge of media and ad technologies used to support online and/or mobile advertising operations: ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, HTML, XML, Javascript, and third-party ad tags Operate and manage with a sense of urgency and customer centric perspective Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Keen ability to be detail oriented and organized. You can clearly understand business needs and impact and communicate the importance of an issue or a feature that needs to be implemented for internal and external stakeholders  Ability to multitask, and prioritize work  Professional communication, both written and verbal Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders to find solutions, increase productivity, efficiency and team success.
