Position Overview:
As the Production Head for our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant focusing on liquid orals and capsules, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the production operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Production Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement production plans to meet the company's objectives in terms of quality, quantity, cost, and timelines.
Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to achieve production targets.
2.Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements (such as FDA, cGMP, and other relevant standards).
Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the production process.
3.Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation in production methods and technologies.
4.Team Leadership and Development:
Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, including supervisors, operators, and technicians.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the production department.
5.Safety and Compliance:
Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and practices.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
6.Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory levels for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
7.Budgeting and Cost Control:
Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the production budget.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize production costs while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's & Master's degree in Pharmacy.
Proven experience (15+ years) in a similar role within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, with a focus on liquid orals and capsules.
FDA Approval for Capsules & Liquids.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software is preferred.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is desirable.
