Role:

Responsible for 1st level support to local customers and regional escalation support on our SMT Solution equipment including installation, hotline management and field servicing activities to customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Performs machine installation, commissioning, on-site training and production monitoring
  • Performs standby service support
  • Responds to customer and regional service calls and attend to problem at customer side when required
  • Provides on-site training to customers
  • Participates in continuous improvement and developing of new ideas and technology on product training delivery that add value to our customers
  • Other technical related activities related to SMT Solutions offerings


Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience. For the Senior Engineer role, a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience is required.
  • Experience in Printer, Pick & Place and Solder Paste Inspection machines is a must
  • Experience in SMT equipment especially ASMPT one is preferred
  • Experience in SMT Process and Applications, Line Software’s integration, MES and Industrial Automation preferred
  • Knowledge in basic project management skills will be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Results & quality oriented
  • Team player and able to collaborate effectively with others
  • Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, and open to relocation
