Role:
Responsible for 1st level support to local customers and regional escalation support on our SMT Solution equipment including installation, hotline management and field servicing activities to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Performs machine installation, commissioning, on-site training and production monitoring
- Performs standby service support
- Responds to customer and regional service calls and attend to problem at customer side when required
- Provides on-site training to customers
- Participates in continuous improvement and developing of new ideas and technology on product training delivery that add value to our customers
- Other technical related activities related to SMT Solutions offerings
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience. For the Senior Engineer role, a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Experience in Printer, Pick & Place and Solder Paste Inspection machines is a must
- Experience in SMT equipment especially ASMPT one is preferred
- Experience in SMT Process and Applications, Line Software’s integration, MES and Industrial Automation preferred
- Knowledge in basic project management skills will be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Results & quality oriented
- Team player and able to collaborate effectively with others
- Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, and open to relocation
Work Location: India, Bangalore/ Chennai
