Job Title:

Senior Administrator - Cash Accounting

Summary:

The Global Shared Service Center (GSC-BLR) for Momentive Business provides support services such as IT, Finance, HR support etc. across MPM.
Global Finance Team (GFS-BLR) provides range of Finance services such as RTR, Transfer Pricing, Business/Ops. Support, AP & Purchase support, etc.
The incumbent of this role will be part of GFS-RTR Cash Team working closely with the line manager to ensure timely execution & delivery of commitments to meet expectations of our functional stakeholders. The candidate should display a great sense of accountability at work and be willing to take over additional responsibilities from time to time.

Responsibilities Include:

Preparation and booking of daily cash activities, review & record daily cash posting (Vendor payments and customer receipts). Reconcile bank accounts and validate balances and analyze cash activities. Apply cash daily for all deposited credit card settlements, EFT/ACHs, and AR deposits Coordinate with Collection team to ensure proper accounting of receipts to customer accounts and resolve unclear cash transactions in a timely manner Processing offset, write-off, and reversal requests (requests from C&C) and apply non-AR payments to the General Ledger Perform end of day balancing including reconciliation items Identify and trouble shoot discrepancies between accountings records, research and resolve errors Coordinate with external teams (Bank, customers) or internal departments like Treasury and Credit & Collection teams, Controllership

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

(H) or equivalent 4 to 5 years accounting/finance experience Good knowledge of accounts receivable process with an expertise in cash & bank reconciliation process. Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
