Position Summary: We are seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Senior Kubernetes Administrator to join ourteam. The ideal candidate will be a true expert in Kubernetes witha strong background in container orchestration deployment andmanagement. Certification in Kubernetes administration is requiredalong with a minimum of 10 years of handson experiencepostcertification. The Senior Kubernetes Administrator will play acritical role in designing implementing and maintaining ourKubernetes infrastructure to ensure optimal performance scalabilityand reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Kubernetes clustersaccording to best practices considering factors such as scalabilityperformance security and highavailability.
  • Configure and manage Kubernetesresources including pods services deployments andnamespaces.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetesclusters to identify and resolve performance issues system errorsand other operational challenges.
  • Developautomation scripts and tools to streamline deployment configurationand maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to define infrastructure requirements designsolutions and implement changes asneeded.
  • Ensure compliance with securitypolicies and best practices in Kubernetesenvironments.
  • Stay uptodate with the latesttrends technologies and best practices in Kubernetes and containerorchestration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.
  • Certification in Kubernetesadministration (e.g. Certified Kubernetes AdministratorCKA).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IToperations with at least 5 years focused on Kubernetesadministration.
  • Indepth knowledge of Kubernetesarchitecture components andecosystem.
  • Proficiency in containertechnologies such as Docker container networking andstorage.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g. BashPython) and experience with automation tools (e.g. AnsibleTerraform).
  • Solid understanding of Linuxoperating systems and systemadministration.
  • Excellent problemsolving skillsand the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributedsystems.
  • Effective communication skills and theability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms(e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and container orchestration servicesis a plus.
