Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Office Manager to join our team at Gamut HR Solutions. As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's front desk, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing a team of front office staff. This is a mid-level position that requires 4 to 6 years of experience in hotel front office management. The role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and is offered as a full-time position with Gamut HR Solutions, a company with 2-10 employees.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in hotel front office management
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to handle and resolve guest issues in a professional manner
- Proficient in hotel property management systems (PMS) and MS Office
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel front desk, ensuring smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes
- Manage and supervise a team of front office staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving guest issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Train new front office staff on hotel policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize front office operations and improve guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Monitor and maintain financial records, including cash handling and billing processes
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in hotel front office management
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management
