Job Summary:


The Head of Sales for Data & Analytics Services is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the growth and success of our data and analytics services. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, leading the sales team, and fostering relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the data and analytics landscape, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • The individual would be a seasoned Sales Leader with a consultative driven sales approach to increase the market outreach, drive tangible business outcomes and thereby meet the objective of generating revenues from global Market and contribute to the growth of Data & Analytics business.
  • High-energy growth leader with an ability to grow client relationships through presenting new strategies and innovative solutions.
  • Define and drive go-to-market strategy and find new growth opportunities that open up new avenues for the Data & Analytics business.
  • Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of qualified and potential prospects.
  • Responsible for building and sustaining C-Level strong relationships, have value added conversation and convert them into Strategic revenue streams.
  • Develop mid to large Data & Analytics project opportunities encompassing a wide range of customers and services.
  • Manage and execute the overall sales cycle from prospecting including networking, CxO targeted events and cold calling to close, including contract negotiation.
  • Understand customer requirements and help create innovative saleable solutions working with inside sales and solution teams.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders, solutions and pre-sales teams, delivery, and support organizations in structuring, negotiating, and closing of new strategic deals / partnerships.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive B2B sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Create Leads and positions Analytics solutions with clients.
  • Strike domain-led conversions using Analytics use cases that would address customer scenarios/requirements and also business pains.
  • Work with internal stakeholders seamlessly and follow up to close proposals with the right commercial elements, if need be to negotiate with relevant stakeholders internally to create the right commercial constructs for the scope identified.
  • Negotiate and close commercial and contract terms with the customer.
  • Work with partners to come out with GTM (Go to market) plans.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the International Market, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to inform sales strategies and decision-making
  • Take ownership of revenue targets and drive the sales team to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and take corrective actions as necessary to stay on track
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, with a focus on expanding our market presence and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored SaaS solutions that drive value.
  • Manage sales operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, to optimize sales performance
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to inform business decisions
  • Utilize your experience in selling IT Services to International Clients, leveraging your knowledge of procurement processes and compliance requirements
  • Implement effective sales enablement programs, training, and tools to empower the sales team to excel in their roles


Requirements:


  • Master's Degree in Business Administration
  • 12+ years experience in or leading sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading high-performing IT Services Sales Team, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong background in IT Services Sales, with a preference for experience in selling to the International Market
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions
  • Willingness to travel as needed
