Student Recruitment Manager supporting US University


We are a global advisory firm supporting prestigious U.S. universities committed to fostering global education and attracting talented students from India and South Asia. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Student Recruitment Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding international student base for our client universities

Summary of the Role

The Student Recruitment Manager will be working closely with the US University's International office, and will have:

·        To promote the University in India and South Asia and recruit full-time students across all faculties, at all levels

·        To establish Alliances & Partnerships with Indian Universities with a view to raise university profile and increase revenue generation

·        Existing relationship building & management.

·        Developing partnership models with Indian institutions

Besides our global HQ team in Gurugram near New Delhi, we have offices in Canada for the Americas and representatives in Belfast and Dubai for clients in the UK, European and Middle East markets.

We work with overseas universities towards student recruitment support and representation in the Indian market. We assist them in forging partnerships for research and student/faculty exchange programme.

With headquarters in Gurgaon, India and offices spread across Europe and North America, we work with international economic development agencies, overseas enterprises, higher education institutions/universities, and tourism boards


Key Responsibilities

 

1) Increase student enrolment from India and South Asia to US University 's programmes by:

·        Attending education fairs and exhibitions and representing the university

·        Delivering promotional presentations in schools, colleges and universities to students, counselors, heads, and parents.

·        Conducting consultation sessions with prospective students, parents, teachers, and other key decision-makers and influencers

·        Developing and maintaining the University's alumni network in India and subsequently channeling the network towards student recruitment activities

·        Establish PR links around India (with newspapers, TV, and radio channels, etc.)

·        Developing content for market-specific promotional material and working in association with the social media team for marketing strategies.

 

 

2) Identifying, establishing, and supporting Institutional partnerships

·        Identifying partnerships with educational institutions in India and South Asia to propose arrangements such as twinning programs, exchange programs, pathway programs, etc.

·        Engaging in impactful meetings with university heads by sharing insights on Education overseas, possible partnership models, regulations, and benefits.

·        Partnerships with corporates for short-term training, executive education, etc.

·        Following through opportunities of partnerships to execution and supporting partners in promoting these programs

·        Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts in education industry and government, including university heads, school principals and counsellors, heads of department and vice chancellors, ministry officials, scholarship-awarding bodies etc.

 

Experience and Skills:

·        Educated minimum to degree level

·        Minimum 3-4 years' experience in international student recruitment for US university

·        Strong network and connections in the education sector, with proven success in developing and managing networks

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), including the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences

·        Proven experience in school outreach, agent management, and development of business and professional organization networks in India.

 

·        Willingness to travel extensively and a flexible approach to working hours is essential, as is the ability to work towards challenging targets efficiently and autonomously.


Desirable:

·        Excellent understanding of the Indian higher education industry and, US education system

·        Experience of Institutional partnerships and Alliances is desirable.

·        Experience of studying, working or living abroad is desirable in connecting with our prospective students through shared experiences.
