Our flagship product - FundRight is the world’s first student loan bidding platform. GradRight won the HSBC Fintech Innovation Challenge supported by the Ministry of Electronics & IT & was among the top 7 global finalists in The PIEoneer awards hosted by The PIE News, UK. In a short span of 10 months We have received $ 350 millions dollars in loan requests and facilitated disbursements of more than $ 50 million in loans this year and we are poised to scale up rapidly. We are launching the second product - SelectRight as an innovative approach to college selection and student recruitment for students and universities, respectively. The product rests on the three pillars of data-science, transparency and ethics and hopes to create a lot of value for students and universities.


The core team of GradRight has significant domestic and international expertise in setting-up, managing and working in higher education institutions. The team members are passionate about making a difference to students and universities in the sector.


Brief:

If you enjoy the challenges of sourcing, attracting and hiring candidates in a fast-paced environment, you are welcome to consider this role. In this role you will be responsible for finding and recruiting candidates matching our requirements in a timely and stress-free manner.


Responsibilities:


A. Manpower planning:

Work with respective team leads to:

  1. Understand their requirements and schedule of staffing for their respective functions
  2. Understand the skills, qualities, experience required for various roles and build job descriptions for different roles
  3. Plan the recruitment schedule under the guidance of Lead, Talent Development

B. Sourcing:

  1. Research into competitors and market place to understand the trends of sourcing, compensations in different functions like sales, marketing, technology
  2. Source in CVs from various channels like Linked In, Angelist, Naukri etc. and also working with recruitment agencies to ensure a good supply of suitable profiles

C. Recruitment process:

  1. Facilitate shortlisting, interviews with candidates as per hiring mandates
  2. Achieve and exceed the hiring benchmark within the given time period
  3. Sending out offer letters to selected candidates and sharing company policies and process document
  4. Following up with the candidate till he/she is onboarded

Qualities and skills required:

  1. MBA with specialization in Human Resource Management
  2. 4-6 years experience in talent acquisition
  3. Ability to build relationships with & influence stakeholders
  4. Ability to multitask effectively
  5. Good exposure to using applicant tracking software
  6. Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  7. Proficient in Excel

Good to have:

  1. Prior work experience with a fast-growing start-up
  2. Willingness to stretch and go beyond the normal standards of schedule and expectations
