Role Overview

We're seeking a seasoned, relentless US Small Business Sales Manager to architect and drive an end-to-end sales system, lead a high-performing team, and achieve our ambitious goal of onboarding 1,000+ childcare centers in 12 months. As the US Small Business Sales Manager, you'll be the mastermind behind building and scaling GoNote's sales engine. You'll design and implement a comprehensive sales system, hire and train experienced lead generators, drive cold emailing campaigns, and set up robust sales tracking systems using tools like HubSpot or Aircall. Your leadership will ensure a seamless sales process from lead generation to signed contracts, targeting 100+ accounts in 3 months and 1,000+ in 12 months. You'll also collaborate with the digital marketing team on social media video campaigns and provide critical feedback to the product team to enhance our offerings based on customer insights. With 5+ years of experience in building sales systems for SaaS or B2B, you'll be relentless in driving results and shaping GoNote's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build End-to-End Sales System : Design and implement a scalable sales process, including lead generation, qualification, demo scheduling, and contract closure, to achieve 100+ accounts in 3 months and 1,000+ in 12 months.
  • Hire and Train Lead Generators : Recruit, onboard, and train a team of experienced lead generators to drive high-volume outreach (100+ calls/day, cold emails, and texts) and secure 10+ qualified demos per week per rep.
  • Drive Cold Email Campaigns : Develop and execute targeted cold email strategies to generate interest and qualify leads among childcare centers across the U.S.
  • Set Up Sales Tracking Systems : Configure and optimize CRM and telephony tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Aircall) to track activities, manage pipelines, and provide weekly performance reports against goals.
  • Lead Demos and Close Deals : Personally conduct high-impact product demos and manage the full sales cycle to close 100+ childcare centers every 3 months, ensuring a smooth transition to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing : Partner with the digital marketing team to create compelling social media video content that drives brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Provide Product Feedback : Work closely with the product team to relay customer feedback, ensuring GoNote's platform evolves to meet market needs and reduce churn.
  • Foster Relationships : Build trusted partnerships with childcare center directors, owners, and franchise operators by aligning GoNote's solutions with their recruitment and compliance challenges.
  • Scale the Sales Team : Train and mentor a growing sales team to replicate your success, ensuring alignment with GoNote's goal of 1,000+ clients in 12 months.
  • Drive Data-Driven Results : Use metrics and insights to optimize sales performance, refine strategies, and maintain accountability in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

Requirements

  • Extensive Sales Leadership Experience : 5+ years in SaaS or B2B sales leadership, with a proven track record of building end-to-end sales systems, including lead generation, CRM setup, and pipeline management.
  • Industry Expertise : Deep experience selling to childcare centers, K-12, healthcare, or education sectors, with a strong network in childcare or small business spaces.
  • Lead Generation Mastery : Demonstrated success in hiring, training, and managing lead generation teams, with expertise in high-volume cold calling (500+ calls/week) and cold emailing campaigns.
  • Tech Proficiency : Advanced proficiency with CRM and telephony tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Aircall) for tracking, reporting, and pipeline optimization.
  • Digital Marketing Collaboration : Experience working with digital marketing teams to create social media content (e.g., videos) and drive demand generation through product-led growth strategies.
  • Proven Growth Track Record : Metrics showcasing customer acquisition (100+ accounts/quarter), retention, and scaling sales systems in early-stage or high-growth environments.
  • Compliance Knowledge : Familiarity with compliance-heavy industries (e.g., childcare, healthcare) to effectively position GoNote's solutions.
  • Exceptional Communication : Outstanding ability to articulate AI/software value to non-technical audiences, build rapport with directors and owners, and handle objections with confidence.
