Job Purpose

The Head of Digital Platforms at NICMAR is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the iNICMAR digital solution and other digital platforms that support NICMAR's educational initiatives. This person will own the learning technology, act as the product head for all digital solutions, and take charge of the student experience on the platform. Job Outline

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for NICMAR's digital platforms, particularly the iNICMAR digital solution, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and educational objectives.
  • Own the learning technology and act as the product head for all digital solutions, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the ideation, design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Take ownership of the student experience on the digital platform, designing and implementing solutions to enhance usability, engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of digital platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to integrate digital platforms with curriculum and administrative processes.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor platform performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and platform effectiveness.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital platform management and educational technology.
  • Foster a culture of testing and experimentation to continuously improve the digital platforms and student experience.
  • Manage a team of digital platform developers, IT professionals, and other relevant staff.
  • Foster relationships with external technology vendors and partners to enhance NICMAR's digital platform capabilities.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on the performance and impact of digital platforms.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the digital platforms team.

Job Specification

Knowledge/Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, educational technology, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., Master's or PhD) is preferred.
