Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Placement Head at ASBM. The Placement Head will be responsible for overall placement of the students for summers/winter Internships and finals placement. Keeping record of the companies visited, Job descriptions, Students details, companies applied for, final confirmations from the companies and overall placement data for compliance purposes.


Key Responsibilities:

1.     To Present a detailed Placement Roadmap to the Principal/ Director/Deputy Director and Board of Trustees covering new prospective organizations to be identified and new industries/sectors to be tapped.

2.    To oversee and monitor the performance of the Placement Officer, Placement Executive (Senior) and Placement Executive (Junior).

3.    To frame Placement Policy in consultation with Principal/Principal/ Director/Deputy Director and abide them.

4.    To appoint student representatives in Placement committee.

5.    To periodically monitor the progress of placement of the students.

6.    To decide the appropriate course of action on the basis of the reports and feedback received in Director/Deputy Director.

7.    To report to Principal/Vice Principal/ Director/Deputy Director and Board of Trustees.

8.    To improve the quality of placements in terms of job opportunities, quality of companies that visit the campus and increase the average salaries year on year

9.    Responsible for organizing summer and winter internships in companies that are most likely to offer conversion into final placements, as much as possible.

10.Key task is to bring in new clientele and manage relationships with existing corporate clients.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience.


Scale of Pay - As per Industry standards.
