Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Accountant (US GAAP, QuickBooks & Payroll – US & India) to join our finance and operations team. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in US GAAP accounting , QuickBooks Online , and payroll management for both US and India operations . This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional capable of managing end-to-end accounting, payroll compliance, and financial reporting across multiple regions. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations in QuickBooks Online . Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements as per US GAAP . Oversee payroll processing for both US and India teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement. Handle statutory compliances including PF, TDS, PT, ESIC (India) and tax withholdings, benefits, W-2/1099 (US) . Coordinate with HR for employee data updates, leaves, and benefits integration. Execute month-end and year-end closings , reconciliations, and management reporting. Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations . Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and payroll service providers . Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis . Maintain proper documentation for audits, filings, and financial transparency . Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance , or related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting and payroll management under US GAAP . Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (certification preferred). Strong knowledge of US and Indian payroll systems and regulations . Familiarity with tools like Gusto, ADP, Paychex (US) and Zoho Payroll, RazorpayX, or similar (India) . Excellent understanding of tax compliance, financial controls , and reconciliation processes . Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail. Comfortable working during US business hours (night shift IST) .
