This position requires monitoring market trends, identifying key customers and market segments, and making recommendations for the implementation and optimization of marketing programs from concept through completion.ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSManages advertising activities with integrity and ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures and practices.Maintains advertising materials, including media kits, catalog copyright, editorial calendars, etc.Coordinates payment and record keeping of marketing department invoices from outside vendors with Finance Department as needed.Working with the media team, evaluates multiple communication channels to determine the best digital media and promotion mix to accomplish specific objectives.Ensures strong negotiations resulting in breakthrough, efficient and effective media deals. Identifies unique media buying opportunities. Negotiates directly with media partners. Makes decisions regarding spending levels and placement tactics.Reporting and processing of weekly and monthly reports. Maintains a variety of departmental statistics by preparing spreadsheet analysis and creating analysis reports.Coordinates scheduling of both print and digital advertising with publications. Schedules and organizes marketing meetings, including collaborative meetings with international teams.Maintains area budgets with monthly feedback.Establishes and maintains effective relationships with business associates. Represents the company in a professional manner.Plans and maintains schedule of Mouser events, including trade shows, conferences, seminars, supplier and customer events or shows.Manages event expenses, including advertising, promotional materials, staffing, and travel.Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent.
