Job Title: Senior Executive, IT Department
Responsibilities:
❖Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network administration, system maintenance, and user support.
❖Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure.
❖Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs and requirements.
❖Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
❖Evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
❖Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending strategic initiatives to enhance the organization's IT capabilities.
❖Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.
❖Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices.
❖
Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues promptly, both remotely and on-site.
❖
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including hardware upgrades, patch installations, and system updates.
❖
Assist end-users with technical support inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
❖
Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including wired and wireless networks.
❖
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and procure hardware/software as needed.
❖
Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and hardware inventory.
❖
Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics and best practices.
Skills:
❖Excellent leadership and communication skills.
❖Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
❖Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
❖Proficiency in IT infrastructure management tools and software.
❖Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework is advantageous.
❖Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals.
❖Familiarity with networking equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
Qualifications:
❖Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
❖Master of Computer Applications (MCA) qualification is required.
❖Additional certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
Experience:
❖Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
❖Proven track record of managing IT projects and teams effectively.
❖Experience in implementing and maintaining enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure.
❖Strong knowledge of IT best practices, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
❖Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is desirable.
