Quality Assurance Analyst - To ensure the quality of software products and services working in a SaaS environment, working
within cross-functional delivery teams, operating with Agile methodology.Key ResponsibilitiesRESULTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
EFFECTIVE TESTING
• Actively and accurately execute testing within software releases to ensure a quality product
• Deliver regression, user acceptance, integration and operational acceptance testing
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BA's, Configurators, Scrum Master, Dev Team and Test
Leads to evaluate and assure quality of User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Test Cases
with regards to customer, functional and technical requirements
• Provide quality input to test planning, ensuring business requirements are understood and
that realistic delivery goals are defined and aligned to project delivery expectations
• Need to participate in Scrum Ceremonies, add input for QA effort in Sprint Planning,
contribute to continuous improvements including the Retrospective, ready to demonstrate
the team work in Sprint Preview and to Product Owners for dev work sign off.

• Support and lead effective Defect Management including Triage, Root Cause Analysis,
Defect Tracking and Progress Reporting
• Ensure submitted defects are of high quality and followed up in a timely manner.
• Engage key stakeholders in triage and escalate business critical issues in a timely manner
using appropriate governance channels
SERVICE IMPROVEMENT
• Become subject matter expert on Achilles’ platform capability
• Provide input and expertise to contribute to continuous improvement of the SDLC Process
and testing strategy
• Provide support, guidance and best practice to IT and business stakeholders, promoting
Agile principles and values in support of high-performance scrum teams
• Support the IT and Solution Delivery KPI Framework, ensuring that all measures are correctly
implemented, recorded, and developed
• Play an effective role within the Solution Delivery team, utilising knowledge, and experience
to improve the team’s effectiveness and support growth
• Contribute to the management and development of business controls and processes
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
• Taking personal responsibility for skills development
• Actively participating in the performance management process, and taking responsibility for
delivering agreed objectivesQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Degree in an IT/Computer Science related field or equivalent experience
ISTQB Foundation or equivalent experience
Certification in MSSQL or Neo4j cypher desirablePerson SpecificationCOMPETENCIES

• Previous experience in a QA and testing role
• A successful track record of effective quality assurance and software testing
• Experience in Agile methodologies and working in Scrum Teams
• Experience of automation test systems is desirable
