We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in application support, with a strong understanding of application troubleshooting, maintenance, and support processes. This role requires working in the office five days a week, ensuring the smooth operation of applications and providing technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical support for applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and maintenance.

- Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve application defects and performance issues.

- Perform regular system health checks and ensure applications are running optimally.

- Assist with application deployments, updates, and configuration changes.

- Respond to and manage user-reported issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Develop and maintain documentation for application support processes and procedures.

- Work closely with other IT teams to integrate applications and ensure seamless operation.

- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.

- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continuously improve support practices.

Key Skills :

- Strong experience in application support, with proficiency in troubleshooting and issue resolution.

- Familiarity with application monitoring and performance tools.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks.

- Experience with database management and SQL.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Experience with ITIL processes and practices is a plus.
